• IS215VCMIH1B  is a Mark VI I/O NET CONTROL CARD – SIMPLEX  Manufactured By General Electric under Mark VI Series.
• The control and interface module’s VCMI board may converse internally with its rack’s I/O boards and with other VCMI boards via the IONet. 
• For TMR systems, there is a variant with three Ethernet ports, and for simplex systems, there is one Ethernet IONet port.
• In a simplex system, a single cable connects one or more interface modules to the control module. 
• In TMR systems, the VCMI with three independent IONet ports is utilized to communicate with the two additional control modules as well as the three I/O channels, Rx, Sx, and Tx.
• The VCMI’s IONet connection is a 10Base2 Ethernet BNC. With a 50 Ω terminal at the first and last nodes, the high impedance interface circuit permits T tap connections.
• RG-58C/U or similar cable may be used for cabling distances up to 185 meters (607 feet) per segment, with a maximum of eight nodes.
