• The IS200EGPAG1A is a EX2100 – GATE PULSE AMPLIFIER CARD Manufactured by General Electric.
• The IS200EGPAG1A Exciter Gate Pulse Amplifier Board’s primary function is power bridge control. In addition to managing the power bridge, the board will receive gate orders from an ESEL board, which it will use to produce firing pulses for six SCRs.
•  The IS200EGPAG1A is an interface for temperature monitoring, bridge airflow, and conduction current feedback in addition to the modes previously mentioned.
• The IS200EGPAG1A model has LEDs that show the temperature of the bridge, the line filters, the output firing, the gate power supply, the alarm/fault situations, the cooling fan spinning, and the currents entering the bridge.
• An on-board DC/DC converter powers SCR gating across the whole input supply voltage range using the IS200EGPAG1A model’s power source.
• A trip and a fault are produced if both of the IS200EGPAG1A’s thermal switches are open. A single thermal switch opens at a temperature of 190 degrees Fahrenheit for the trip level and 190 degrees Fahrenheit for the alert level.
